Meet Will Fasset, ARC’s year-round Outreach Coordinator for our Yosemite program. Will has been with ARC for just under one year, and although he’s had a diverse array of work experiences and off-the-wall adventures, working ARC’s 40-day course may be the craziest thing he’s done yet. (We’ll have to check in with him on day 40 to see if this is true or not!) Will has been excited to mix his love for the outdoors and passion for English language teaching as ARC’s Outreach Coordinator. From living in a FEMA trailer in an Arizona ghost town as a Student Conservation Association intern to teaching English in a small, intimate fishing village in Spain, he has pursued his interests in culture, language, and the outdoors in many different capacities. He has also served as an AmeriCorps VISTA in Waterville, Maine and a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Aguascalientes, Mexico. Most recently, he received a Master’s degree from Georgetown University in Foreign Service. He is grateful to have the opportunity to work with such an inspirational group of ARC students and staff. In his free time, Will enjoys running, reading, and playing a good game of Scrabble.
